Riding My Own Ride! I am working hard to become a better rider (mainly MTB). For the longest time I always got frustrated by better, faster riders and wished, I could ride as well as they rode until I realized that I have to ride my own ride and that is what I am doing now. And the magic about this is that with each pedal stroke, I am getting better, faster and stronger:D

OMG--I just clicked on the link to Canis Art in your sidebar and saw the portraits of your fur-kids. I love them! Do you have these hanging in your house?
I have one of Bridie a few years back from a different artist--would love to have one of the other two as well.

I gave to my Martin, my husband for Xmas. he has yet to hang them...
But yes they are ours. I met her at an Art show and first had the idea to have Chelsea painted. She paints them off photographs. Net thing, I thought, I might as well, have them painted as a pair. Jen is a GREAT artist and she is a cyclist:)
I can only recommend her. She really caught the souls of my babies.

Even though I did not meet Chelsea I *feel* like they must be capturing her personality—the expression on her face is one I know well, I see it on Bridie often (my 16 yo JR). You should meet Bridie—we should get together for a dog walk sometime in May.
