Riding My Own Ride! I am working hard to become a better rider (mainly MTB). For the longest time I always got frustrated by better, faster riders and wished, I could ride as well as they rode until I realized that I have to ride my own ride and that is what I am doing now. And the magic about this is that with each pedal stroke, I am getting better, faster and stronger:D

I really like the second from last hosta--what varietal is it? We haven't lived in our house long so I am still trying to slowly build a garden. It is a lot of fun and already I have learned a lot.

I agree. Beautiful plants. Thank you for your list. Interesting that you never thought you'd be so interested in cycling. As recently as three years ago, I believed the same thing about myself. Even back when I did a lot of bike touring, I was more interested the touring than the biking. Now ...

By the way ... happy to see that your site is in English. German is the one second language I "learned," but I understand it only at about the level of a 2-year-old. I'll be back!
